Winter Treffen 09

Cfleuro ran shit this year at Winter Treffen. The Scirocco definitely was the star of the show. There was a photoshoot of it later that night too so keep an eye out for those pics.

 

 

 

AutoX was awesome.

 

 

And then JJ got his car stolen.

Oh and cfleuro won best MKV, MKII, Best Audi, and ALL but one of the raffle prizes.

Took this pic for a school project, turned it in, and then edited it just now while im in class ahah. I accidentally figured out how to use the rgb in curves too which is exciting. All I did to this was levels, curves, slight saturation bump, and a crop.

Winter Park Concours d'Elegance 09

Rode out there with Raskin to shoot some cars, and of course we got lost trying to find parking. Damn iPhone... Anyway, we met up with Mike and we all had our cameras, so it was a good time. There were a ton of people though, so it was real hard to get good shots. Lots of ninja shots and hiding behind cars waiting for a small window to shoot. The Super Veloce was impossible, there were people around it the entire time. Cant really blame them though, that car is so sexy! There were also so many nice cars just parked around the event. There was a freaking Ferrari California parked across the tracks, and you could see it from the Ferrari section. Some highlights:

Floridas Annual DSM Meet: Holy Evos!

I went to my first big non-euro meet, and all I can say is DAMN. It was out of control. It was expertly coordinated during the cruise with the filming and everything. I cant wait to see that video. Heres a quick recap of what went down:

Started out in a parking lot on Goldenrod, just like any old car meet. LOTS of sick evos.

Then after about an hour, when all of the cars were there, they lined up by color getting ready to cruise to CFRC.

There were cops to stop all traffic at the intersection so that 100 cars wouldnt have to make u-turns.

It was pretty sick watching all these cars, all the same color, ride out.

I ran up to the corner to take some panning shots. There were so many of them it was overwhelming!

Once I caught up with the cruise, we hit a bit of traffic. A hundred Evos will do that.

Once we got to CFRC everyone parked according to color too. Fantastic.

 

Chilled there, talked cars, and took pictures for a couple of hours, and then they got a cherrypicker to take some shots for a magazine I think.

The event was a success for sure. I know I sure had a blast. Definitely gonna hit up this meet again next year.
